Every day when I wake up I thank God for another day to do His work better than the day before. He is giving us another chance.

Every night I thank God for the day and pray I filled the day with God in the things I said and did.

Yes;I know that we can give thanks, praise all during the day.

I do for the things He does for me when they happen and thank Him for this fabulous world He gave to us to live on until He calls us home to be with Him.

What an awesome God we have...

The Starfish.

While walking down the beach, a man saw someone in the distance leaning down, picking something up and throwing it in the ocean.

As he came closer, he saw thousands of starfish the tide had thrown onto the beach. Unable to return to the ocean during low tide, the starfish were dying. He observed a young boy picking up the starfish one by one and throwing them back into the ocean.

After watching the seemingly futile effort, the observer said, "There must be thousands of starfish on this beach. It would be impossible for you to save all of them. There are simply too many. You can't possibly save enough to make a difference.

The young boy smiled as he picked up another starfish and tossed it back into the ocean.

"It made a difference to that one," he replied.

Prayer
Lord in the same way you are saving one by one and I thank you for the great love you have for us. I pray we will look to you for all our needs but also obey your word and in it all bring honor and glory to you.

A young lady “ Ashleigh “ that I met at college has done some serious damage to her right wrist and fore-arm.

She had one operation and then in a hard cast, then to a soft cast; but the healing is not going well and may need another operation.

Please pray for healing for her.

I am sorry this took so long, I have excuses but not a good reason except busy and lapse of memory.

I ask for it to be put in the “ Prayer Request “ in the church bulletin but it never made it.



So...

Everyone who reads this I ask you to pray for Ashleigh as she has done some serious damage to her right wrist and fore-arm.

She had one operation and then in a hard cast, then to a soft cast; but the healing is not going well and may need another operation.

Please keep her in prayer for complete healing.

I went to the Doc on the 6th for my wrist and he told me that my tendon on the inside of my wrist is in the same condition as the one on the outside of my wrist was before surgery. He then gave me a cortazone shot and told me that if the shot didn't loosen my tendon up that I would most likely need another surgery.

As of now, 8 days later, I am having more pain and troubles with my wrist than I was before the shot.

I trust that God has His hand in all of this and that He will give me the strenght to deal with what ever comes.

So, thank you again for your prayers.

I haven't been back to the Dr. since the last e-mail. I have been told by my therapists that my range of motion has gotten better, but they fear that I may still need surgery on my thumb side and maybe again on the outside as well...my tendon that they fixed is still rolling. I'll know more on the 11th.

Still no change in my arm. I underwent some testing and the MRI showed swelling in my wrist which caused my Doc to be a little worried, so then I had a blood test and an EMG. The EMG came back normal, Praise the Lord!! And the blood test was a cause for concern. The count in one of my tests was supposed to be between 1/80 and mine is between 1/1852. They have never seen it that high in anyone before.

So....now I am being tested for Lupus. They are pretty sure I have Lupus and Crohn's disease, but we won't know until I have 3 more tests. If indeed it is Lupus, they will operate on my wrist again and then put me on a new medication to treat the swelling caused by Lupus. This should help my wrist to heal correctly and also help my other joints that haven't healed from past injuries (Lupus would have prevented them from healing) So the good news is that my knee that I hurt when I was 16 and my shoulder that I hurt 5 years ago will finally be healed!!
