After praying for our girl’s salvation for two years the Lord sent us down to to Honduras.

When He told us to back down; it was a month from just coming back from there and in a way I argued with Him “but we just got back from there”. So I asked for a “wet fleece test” to make sure it was from Him. I prayed the test for two nights and on Wednesday night when we went over to church the test was answered exactly as I asked, that instant I looked up to heaven and said it’s from you; we will go.

The Lord kept it in our head that we had to go back down so we made flight reservations for 10 months later. It was our girl’s birthday at that time.

The first night there we went to a home for bible study and at the end the hostess brought out refreshment and the pastor sitting there said there is to be a baptism this Sunday, down there anyone accepting the Lord is baptized the following Sunday, no waiting in any way or for any reason, they are baptized.

We have been there many times and almost every time someone was baptized so we did not think to much of it. Yes we always look to someone coming to the Lord.

Then all of a sudden the pastor says “Maria” and even at that we still did not think of anything, then I said Maria and the translator said si; Maria; again; I said our Maria; he said si.

We were dumbfounded, astonished, speechless and all of a sudden I blurted out “now I know why the Lord sent us down here”

He in His gracious caring love not only answered our prayers but allowed us to witness it.

A W E S O M E; wow, we had no idea what so ever. We can not describe the feeling we had. Even today we are at a lost for words to really describe the trip and what happened.

Just thanking the Lord seems so insignificant but “Thank you Lord” Amen
