Find a daily retreat and use the power of prayer.
Matthew 6:6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Seek God's face during these times with Him. and write, what you hear in God's whispers. God answers knee prayer.
1Chronicles 16:11 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.

Who are you? What are you? What do you think God is telling you to do or not to do?
Job 33:14 For God does speak — now one way, now another — though man may not perceive it.

Is there something that brought you to this time and place in your life?

Are there any buried mistakes in your life that still hold you back?
Mark 4:19 but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.

Have you turned your mistakes over to God, so you can experience His true blessings for your life?
Daniel 9:9 The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him;

When did you finally turn it all over to God?

What victories have you experienced in your life?

What blessings has God brought your way?
Deuteronomy 28:2 All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:

Think about God's part in your life, and give Him thanks for all you have?
1Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Write down each day at the end of your prayer time in a journal and it would make one of the greatest legacies for a child; especially after your departure.

Your most personal talks with the God of creation, your Salvation and all that is in it. It could make an tremendous difference in that child's life.
