I have been asked this question and gave that person my answer but I am putting it forward to any one who wishes to answer or has thoughts on it.

Can satan hear our prayers?

I have heard different things said about this.

When we pray or talk with the Lord, but not out loud, can satan hear us?

I have read where he can't read our minds, but then I have heard other people say, that he can hear our prayers.

What exactly does satan know?

Satan can do nothing to hinder our prayers if God has not previously given him permission to do so.

The Bible says that when we resist the devil he flees, so I don't know how much of our prayers he can hear.

I doubt he can read our mind as he is only a created being; God knows our hearts and is probably the only One who can.

When we pray out loud, I suppose it would be possible, *if he were present.* Satan is not omnipresent as God is. So, for him to hear our prayer, he would have to be present and tuned in to what we are doing and saying.

God is able to do listen to everyone, everywhere, at the same time because He is all-knowing, all-seeing, and ever-present--and we don't even have to say it out loud because of this.
